Garrett Riley

Garrett Riley is the former frontman of San Francisco based band Hungry Skinny. After the band broke up in 2018 he continued performing in the SF Bay Area, independently releasing his album ‘Causal Monster’ on Soundcloud in 2020, and in the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdowns participating in a widely viewed live stream with the Light Rail Station Facebook and Youtube channel. In November of 2020 he was invited to participate in a Singer/Songwriter artist residency program in Mexico City, where he wrote and recorded his album ‘65’, which came out through Light Rail Records in 2022. In 2024 on a brief sojourn in San Francisco, he recorded the single ‘No Business of Mine (Hallelujah)’, produced by Elton Ridge, which came out on Light Rail Records that same year. He has spent the last two years recording in his home studio and performing regularly throughout Mexico City.
